What Is Transitions® Color Touch™?
Transitions® Color Touch™ is built on Transitions® GEN S™ technology, with a new always on touch of colour that gives the lenses a distinctive look throughout the day. Indoors, they maintain a subtle tint while preserving natural colour perception, so your surroundings still appear true to life.
When exposed to outdoor light, the lenses activate further, creating a richer colour effect while adapting to changing brightness. When you return indoors, they transition back to their softer indoor tint.
This makes Color Touch™ ideal for wearers who want prescription lenses that combine everyday functionality with personal style. The colour becomes part of the overall eyewear look, complementing different frames and individual preferences. Like other Transitions® lenses, Color Touch™ also provides 100% protection against both UVA and UVB rays, helping protect the eyes from UV exposure throughout the day.
Two Effects, Five Colours
One of the defining features of Transitions® Color Touch™ is the choice between two distinct tint effects.
Gradient features a tint that starts from the top of the lens and fades towards clear at the bottom, covering approximately two thirds of the lens surface. This creates a more directional colour effect with a lighter finish towards the lower portion of the lens.
Washed features a consistent tint across the entire lens surface, creating a more even and uniform colour appearance.
The collection is available in five shades: Ruby, Amber, Sapphire, Amethyst, and Emerald. From warmer red and amber tones to cooler blue, violet, and green shades, the range gives wearers greater freedom to coordinate their lenses with different frames and personal styles.
